Mawsley Villagers Association

The Mawsley Villagers Association (MVA) is a registered charity and company limited by guarantee, registered with the Charity Commission.  The Directors are all volunteers, registered at Companies House.  All village residents can be members, and those who choose to become active members (i.e. registered) have a say on the charity's activities.

MVA's purpose is to encourage and facilitate social activity (i.e. fun!) and volunteering within Mawsley village.  The main event that the MVA runs is Bonfire Night, and it supports the Village Fun Day.  In addition, the MVA publishes the village newsletter - Mawsley Newsletter - to provide a communication vehicle for residents and local groups, which is delivered by volunteers to all houses in Mawsley.

The Village Centre is leased by Mawsley Parish Council to the MVA, who operate it via a Community Interest Company, TCAM.   A Community Interest Company (CIC) is a non-for-profit company and is there to serve its local community. The Directors of TCAM must be drawn from the list of registered members of the MVA.

The current Chair of the MVA is Jenny Clucas.  If you would like to be involved with the MVA in any way or have ideas for village activities, please get in touch via the Contact Page.

The next MVA Meeting is on Tuesday 16th July at 7.15pm at the Village Centre (TCAM).  All Village Residents are welcome to attend.  The agenda will include discussing Fireworks Night, update on the Skate Ramp Mawsley Group, possible village litter pick, and any ideas for other initiatives we wish to support.
