Mawsley Touch Rugby
Mawsley Touch Rugby Club, formed in 2012, is a mixed, successful touch rugby club based in Northamptonshire. Our emphasis is on fun and fitness although we do play competitive games in the Summer months.
We are always keen to hear from new players looking to join us, whatever your background or experience level. You DO NOT need any experience to join us. 'Touch' is an independent sport of minimal contact with its own set of rules governed by the Federation of International Touch. The focus is on running, speed, agility and passing skills. It is an excellent way to keep fit and get involved in the community. We welcome both men and women (age 16+) and currently have a mix of both playing. The first few sessions are free of charge.
Training Times:
- Tuesday evenings 7.30pm (floodlit in the Winter months). Training consists of a mix of warm ups, skills session and a game - usually followed by a drink in the bar!
- Occasionally we train on a Saturday or Sunday morning subject to demand. Please monitor our facebook page for more information.
